Creek Side B & B is only 20 minutes to the first of 300 lakes situated on the Grand Mesa. The Mesa is a paradise for snowmobiling, hiking, trout fishing and cross country skiing.

Powder Horn Ski Resort is situated on the north face of the Grand Mesa.

There are various artisans, wineries, and galleries in the area and an excellent golf course in Cedaredge. You will cross the Gunnison River just about 11 miles south on US Highway 65. It provides fishing, rafting and other recreational opportunities.

Surface Creek is in the heart of fruit orchards and vineyards. You can sample fruit of all kinds in season or visit numerous wineries.

Cedaredge is considered to be the "Gateway to Grand Mesa".  Applefest and the Little Britches Rodeo are just two of the annual events held each year in Cedaredge.
